What's included in a podcast studio rental?
Every booking includes the full studio — multi-camera setup, professional XLR microphones, broadcast-quality lighting, acoustic treatment, set backdrop, and high-speed internet. Self-Run bookings include setup assistance. With Producer bookings add a Cultura Media House producer who manages cameras, audio levels, and session pacing in real time.
Can I bring my own crew?
Absolutely. You can bring your own photographer, videographer, or creative team. The studio is yours for the duration of your booking. Just let us know in advance so we can coordinate access and load-in logistics.
Do you have in-house producers and photographers?
Yes — Cultura Media House, our in-house production company, is based right here at Casa Cultura. You can add a producer to any podcast studio booking, and upgrade further to include dedicated event or portrait photography. This is a real differentiator: you're not hiring a stranger off a platform, you're working with the team that built this studio.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking at least 48–72 hours in advance for studio sessions and at least 1–2 weeks out for full-day event or production space rentals. For the Cultura Bus, especially for activations requiring specific parking permits or setup, 1–2 weeks notice is ideal. We can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests — just WhatsApp us and we'll do our best.
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your booking may be credited toward a future session. Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking are charged in full. Rescheduling is always easier than cancelling — contact us early if your plans change.
Do you offer live streaming?
Yes. We offer Multi-Camera Live Streaming as an add-on ($750/session) for both studio podcast sessions and production/event space bookings. We can stream to YouTube, Instagram Live, LinkedIn, Twitch, or custom RTMP destinations. Ask about our broadcast setup during inquiry.
Can the Cultura Bus leave Casa Cultura's location?
Yes. The Cultura Bus is fully mobile and available for activations across Miami-Dade County. For locations outside Miami-Dade (Broward, Palm Beach, etc.), transport and driver fees apply. All out-of-county pricing is by quote — reach out with your location and we'll build a proposal.
Do I need production insurance?
For full-day production space rentals and larger events, we do require a certificate of insurance (COI) naming Casa Cultura as additional insured. For podcast studio sessions and smaller bookings, this is typically not required. We'll clarify during your quote process.
Can you handle catering for events?
We offer catering coordination as an add-on service starting at $500. Casa Cultura is also home to The Chopping Block (TCB) food truck on our Backlot — available for certain events. Beverage service is available as an add-on starting at $200. All food and beverage must be coordinated through Casa Cultura for on-site events.
Is parking available on site?
Yes — on-site parking is free for renters at 1811 Ludlam Rd, Miami FL 33155. Street parking is also available along Ludlam Rd. For large events where overflow parking is needed, we'll work with you on logistics in advance.
Is the space wheelchair accessible?
Ground-level access is available. Please contact us before booking with any specific accessibility requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol is permitted for private events at Casa Cultura, subject to our event policies and applicable permits. All beverage service must be coordinated through Casa Cultura. Contact us when inquiring about your event to discuss alcohol service options and requirements.
